Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This policy explains what information Mirage Labs (“Mirage,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit miragelabs.dev, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

01Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the site and respond to you:

  • Information you give us. When you use the contact form, request access, or email us, we receive the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company, role, and message. When you subscribe to updates, we receive your email address.
  • Usage and device data. When you load a page we record a visit event: timestamp, the page path, referring URL, approximate location (country, region, city, and coarse coordinates derived from your IP), time zone, and parsed browser, operating system, and device type. Depending on configuration this may include your IP address.
  • Cookies. We set a first-party identifier cookie to distinguish visitors and, in the gated demo, a cookie that records that you entered a valid access code. See Cookies below.
  • Demo submissions. If you use the interactive demo, the images, models, or files you upload are processed to run the requested analysis. We do not use them to train models and do not retain them beyond what is needed to return your result.

02How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide the demo and other features you request.
  • To send updates you have subscribed to, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the site is used, measure interest, and improve content and performance.
  • To keep the site secure — including rate limiting, abuse prevention, and enforcing access to gated areas.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

03How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • Hosting & infrastructure — our website host and the backend that powers the demo.
  • Email & forms — the provider that delivers newsletter sign-ups, and your own email client when you use the contact form (which opens a pre-filled message to us).
  • Security — a provider used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

04Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies. An identifier cookie distinguishes visitors and keeps analytics consistent across pages; in the gated demo, an authentication cookie records that you entered a valid access code. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the demo may not function without its authentication cookie.

05Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to answer your inquiry, maintain your subscription until you unsubscribe, or retain visit logs for a limited period for security and analytics — after which it is deleted or aggregated.

06Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email info@miragelabs.dev. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

07Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and rate limiting — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08International visitors

The site is operated from the United States, and access is currently limited to certain regions. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

09Children

The site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
